The Dragolf has landed
Hi all!!
Well good news, after 13 hours of bum numbing, mind shattering boredom and surprisingly decent food ( it puts the Writz to shame, good god thats good food)
I AM IN SAN FRAN!!! We sat for 2 hours on the runway because....wait for it...they LOST OUR FLIGHT PLAN!!!! I'nm sorry but that takes the cake of sitting for 30 mins on zimbabwe's runway because we have to burn off fuel....it really does, and THIS IS A FIRST WORLD AIRPORT!!
And then after about 30 mins in the air i find out that my audio on the vidoe channels of the airlilne that i am flying (United Airlines) doesnt frikkin work!!! sooooo i cant watch any in flight movies or anything...oh and i was also SO CLOSE to missing my flight all together...i hate delays on the tube...>.>
Sooooooo 10 hours in the air, 2 hours on the tarmac and another hour in customs (i swear 90% of the people that were on that flight did NOT SPEAK ENGLISH!!!) i then got to the hotel where i am staying, and then got taken out to Denny's, which wasnt that bad, the burger was surprisingly good!! And my god it was HY00000GE!!!
So now today i am going to meet my friend in San Jose for lunch and then its off to Eureka for 2 weeks. I also hope to get a cell phone, hopefully from T-Mobile but i have a sneaky feeling (and also the advise of a friend who lives there).
And now i say adue for the moment, to get food, get a phone and meet my friend *bounces off the walls of my mind as my body tries to catch up*
