So much MIA lately.
Had a few big projects at work which kept me swamped Thursday and Friday. Saturday it POURED all day, so it was the perfect stay-in-PJs weather. I loved it. I watched way too much Netflix. Found this new (but old show) called The Last Man Standing. I find it pretty funny (I’ve always liked Tim Allen), so been watching that. Also started rewatching Crossing Jordan. I enjoyed the show when it was on air, but this first season is getting rough to get through. I think I started it in season two or something lol the first time around. I’ll keep at it though.
Sunday was actually really nice out, but Diane, who was going to go with me, couldn’t make it (and the path up to the tower can get pretty boonie-like and I’m a chicken shit so I don’t like to hike those random paths alone-especially since a woman was attacked last year at the Reservoir). So we are going this weekend. The leaves might all be gone by then, but I’m hoping they stick around another week. It rained a lot so some trees around here are already bare, but many are still holding on!
In big news … I got a new car :D
My old car was about to hit 11 years old (January 2017), and it had really low miles on it (36,580 lol). My bro Dan (who is a Sales Manager at Kia) basically convinced me now was a great time to trade it in for a pretty decent price (and I did get a good trade-in price on it) for a new car. I ended up getting a Kia Sorento on Sunday and I am in LOVE with it. I officially get it tonight (they’re cleaning it/registering it today), so tomorrow I’ll take some photos since it’ll be dark out by the time I get it tonight lol.
I’m basically not telling ANYONE (like no Facebook posts, etc) other than immediate family, but I wanted to share it on here since this is my ‘safe’ zone and where I plan to catalogue my life soooo yeah, had to share it here. All my life (since I could drive many moons ago), I've wanted an SUV and I could finally afford one … so I am happy <3 Plus having payments again will help me save money (I know it sounds WEIRD, but its so true. I saved so much money when I was paying off my old car many moons ago lol).
This one is not MINE, but this is what mine looks like (I got pearl white too). So basically all future 'family' trips will be in my car since it is now the biggest, rofl!
MIA, New Car Smell and Sleepy Nappy TimeI hope everyone had a fantasic weekend! <3
