Hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was okay. I had a rough one emotional wise, but otherwise it was good. I spent almost all of Saturday playing World of Warcraft. I ended up getting a lot of stuff done in the game, and got to chat with my friend B-Done the whole time which was a plus. Around 7pm we all went over to my brother Dan’s house where we had dinner and then ended up watching two movies (‘reviewed’ in two posts below).
Diane and her husband Flo came by in time for the second movie. It was nice to hang out with them and hear about their honeymoon. They went to Mexico and were so glad they had great weather (it was supposed to rain most of the week). Of course, they are all tanned and beautiful right now lol making me a tad jealous :D She brought me back the cutest things. I’ll snap a photo later. I love minions and she somehow managed to find a minion figurine there, lmao. She also got me a few other very cute figurines (turtle and lizard). They ended up leaving/everyone else went to bed around 1am.
We spent the night at my brothers so I didn’t have a laptop with me and still haven’t installed the app on my phone so I was hiding from LJ this weekend ):
Sunday I slept in most of the day because I spent ALL night on my iPad watching Supernatural (almost done with season 8 lol). Didn’t fall asleep until close to 6am. So I got up around 3PM, hung out with the family for the rest of the afternoon/day. I actually started a new book, so hopefully I’ll finish that this week sometime.
I find when I’m obsessed with WoW I barely have time for my other hobbies unless I actually leave my computer alone (like this weekend). So watching movies/reading was nice. Came back home around 11PM last night and was just really tired (even having slept till 3PM). So I watched another episode of Supernatural and then passed out to my nice ‘rain/thunderstorm’ app HAHA. I love that thing.
So it was a very laid back but sort of busy weekend with the family/friends. I was so happy when my coworker friends cancelled lunch, so next weekend I’ll go out to the reservoir/Talcott Mountain and snap some photos. The trees are REALLY changing now, so by next weekend I hope they’re brighter colors for nice photos (and it doesn’t rain). *Fingers crossed*
