(no subject)
While I don't really have too too much to say, I'm going to extrapolate anyway with the hopes that someone who doesn't already know some of these things will read somewhere down the line and be enlightened! I like enlightenment.
I know Ashy and Britt already know this, but I went out on a first date with a guy I met on OkCupid yesterday. I was really really nervous, because I wasn't quite sure of our connection--and frankly, I'm still not. Then again, I've only ever dated someone I knew for a very long time (and liked for most of that time), so naturally that first date had more feeling than this one. We met up at the Boylston T stop, got Malaysian food, and then walked around the park and the general area for a long time. This was slightly ill-fated for me, as I was wearing heels that hurt like hell and tights that chafed my thighs. This morning my feet still ache, and my thighs are actually scabs as a result. We got on the T to Copley, I fell off the T (taking a chunk out of my left shin), and we went to see Cat on the Hot Tin Roof. It was an AMAZING production, great cast, and a good play despite it's depressing nature and the odd feeling that I was watching a section of my own family. After that we had hot chocolate, walked around a lot longer, and I scurried back to my hole to get into something much more comfortable. He was a really nice guy, very sweet, and we had a lot of common interests (namely video games, some anime, theater, and role playing) but I'm not sure if he'd be just a friend or a possible romantic interest at this point.
What else is there to say...? Oh, I bought porn. Shinsengumi porn (Peacemaker porn to be specific) and Eureka 7 porn. The Peacemaker one is an anthology that I got for $11 (SWEET DEAL) and the Eureka 7 had some gooooorgeous art, and a lot of naked Holland. One cannot argue with that.
As usual, I seem to be confronted with a lot of things to do in my life. I have homework (all the reading for the next week, a thesis proposal to do early, two papers), costumes I'm prioritizing (fixing Lambo, making Waifu and Russia), and working on art.
Oh shit. Almost forgot... jury duty on Wednesday... I hope doing my civic duty won't be too boring.
