I can recommend the Emerson-Thoreau Amble and the Hapgood Wright Town Forest for hiking. I saw some inquisitive mosquitoes but none bit today. If you go any later in the year, take bug repellent just in case. In the forest, there are some steep hill sections. In the Amble, there is mud. As long as you are prepared, enjoy! Good wildlife. I could hear human activity for much of the walk, but didn't see very many people. It's a wild stretch between two fairly major streets. I returned to the Visitor Center (where I parked) via Walden Street, which looks like decent cycling. I nodded to the Scout House as I passed, remembering good times there.
I make it about 2.2 trail miles, 3.5 total miles. This completes Map 6. Next time, across Rt. 2, onto Map 7!
