I have officially turned in my application to a local Graphic Design program, complete with my college transcript, and now all that remains is the annoying, "what do you want to do with your life?", essay. Blah.
Even with the essay to write though, I am still excited :). In a few weeks, hopefully I will be starting my first classes!
In other news, I am house sitting for a couple I met through the vet I used to work for. They two of the nicest people ever, and as both are getting older, I am really glad they are able to go away this year.
House sitting is fun, although they have no internet :D. *twitches* Not having the internet didn't bother me so much on the Cape, although I missed LJ :), but it seems a bigger deal when there is no one around. I like the internet because no matter what time of night or day, you can go online and feel like there are other people out there.
It's not that I don't like spending time alone, I am one of those people who needs to spend some time by myself, it's just this seems kind of lonely.
One of my friends came and stayed with me last time I house sat for this couple, and we had a great time, but now she has her own apartment, so she can only visit. Not quite the same.
I'll get over it, I think it was just this weekend, when I was trapped inside with all the rain, that is bothering me :D.
I really like this episode, and I really loved the S/J conversation. SQUEE! It was wonderfully angsty and painful, just as ship should be :D. IMHO, I think Jack's last line, "I wouldn't be here" was on the surface meant to be about Charlie, and the life he could have had, but I also think that the other interpretation was on both Sam and Jack's mind when he said it.
I really believe that TPTB are going to drag this out to the very end, so I am not worried at all about S/J. There's too much drama to explore in having Pete around. Still, maybe I'll be proven wrong, and Sam will be married to him by the end of the season :P. No need to panic now. Besides, angsty is the way S/J is supposed to be :D.
Also, even if I did object to Pete's stalking of Sam, I still burst out laughing when Pete said his stalking line. If we can't laugh at ourselves, then what fun is fandom :D.
Most important of all, there was lots of Teal'c in this episode, as there should be every week. Teal'c=teh man!
