sooooooooooo sleepy
Last night, Scott and I had a fabulous conversation that lasted close to 3 hours. :) It was really great, and at one point we were talking about how one friend of mine really offended me when he asked me not to bring along one of Scott's friends to hang out this weekend for fear he would "bother" some particular "sorority girl" type friends of his. Never has he bothered to wonder if any of them would get on my nerves. (trust me, they do.) Anyway, it is this guy's birthday, and he's organizing the event, so I'm letting it slide, but it just really rubbed me the wrong way because he was such a nice guy before he and the sorority girl became roommates. Now she controls his life. He didn't even come out for his office-mate (and friend)'s birthday on Friday because there was a girls night in at his place and he wanted to be surrounded by them. ugh. Anyway, the point to typing that much of the story was to share the dream I had last night...
Scott and I were out with my friend, and his sorority girl roommate, and several other people. We were all sitting at a very large rectangular wooden table, and I wasn't having a very good time. There was conversation going on around me, but I wasn't really involved in it, and then all of a sudden, I notice Scott is telling off the sorority girl. He's saying things like "they were good friends before you came along, and now she's upset, so *I'm* upset" It went on like this, and sorority girl couldn't get a word in edgewise. It was awesome. I love that he took up for me, even if it was just a dream. :)
So anyway, I hope my friendship isn't actually ruined by this, but I can feel the bonds breaking. Their lease is only until November...maybe after that he'll see the light.
Well, I have a lunch outing to plan...ciao!
