leadership video

I need to take to class (in six days) a 2-7 minute video clip that demonstrates leadership. The leadership can be good or bad. In class we watched an episode of "The Office", which was full of great examples of bad leadership. I can use VHS, DVD, or a computer (even youtube) file. Any suggestions?

Ooooh. Let me think about it.

Dead Poets Society? Is that too overdone?

I wouldn't think so, but then I've not seen it since the '80s. :)

I don't have it, or much rememberence of it, so I'd need a pointer to a specific part.

I'm inclined to try to use something from Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, just because it's so cool and so few people have heard of it. But I'm not sure if there's an appropriate scene...

How about the clip of Patton slapping or threatening a soldier?

Seriously, you might do a clip from Star Trek: The Next Generation since Picard was great at bonding with his officers but not being overly sensitive (most times). For that matter, there are lots of cool scenes from most Star Trek series.

I'd also recommend the Sci-Fi channel's Battlestar Galactica. Check out the first season where Commander Adama has to keep a refugee fleet together while perpetually being chased by Cylons. Some incredibly gut-wrenching command decisions.

Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. When Amidala asks the Gungans for help is a good example (if a bit cheesy).

Hm, Phantom Menace is probably the most accessible for me, since I've seen it and there aren't a million episodes to choose from. I'll think about those.
