Yesterday was the 1st annual Roseville Relay for Life. I went with a team of about 40 or so people, those in my tent were: Stef, Danielle, Cody, Steph, Steph, Manda, Sara, Megan, Aunt Deb, and Uncle Pete. It was a good time had by all, for a wonderful cause that needs our support. In case you dont know what cause, it is a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. There were all kinds of events during the day like the Survivor Walk, Mr. Relay, tug-of-war, moon walk, dunk tank, volley ball, eating, of course WALKING!, and at dark was the luminaries ceremony and walk. The whole event started at 10 am on Saturday and lasted until 10am Sunday. Stef and I stayed until about 1130, and left to come home to sleep in or own beds to go to church in the morning. It was our first year, so we were kinda checking things out, so next year I am sure we will surely be one of the over nighters next year. I also hope to get a bigger group to take part and raise money next year.
A big thank you to my friends who joined in on the walk!!!!
O well, now its time to go get ready for church.
Hope you all have a super, blessed day!
Peace
