RP Sample: I couldn't stop thinking about that one question. Just one question. First thing I got asked on my first day at my new job. "Why move to America?"
I wasn't sure at first either. I had a comfortable life in Finland. The band were there but we never really managed to get far in Finland. It was like that for most Finnish bands. They had to prove themselves outside of the country before they got any recognition. And here I was, moving away from Finland to join Samuli and the rest of my band. I guess I kept telling myself we were doing this as an experiment. Try living in America, playing shows out there, see how things worked out. Record a new album in a different country, try living differently and see how we could become reconnected to our roots. It's a strange way of doing things, I suppose. And besides, I knew we had friends out here. People we had worked with people and would work with again. We knew we were needed out here for our Finnish brothers in Korpiklaani. But things are never just that simple. And I still don't really have an answer as to why I am even here. Why we are doing this. Maybe I'll find an answer soon?
