I should be doing about 20 proofs right now. Instead I'm on my laptop, watching the matrix, and eating a yummy popsicle. My summer classes have definitely improved. It was Statistics first term which was the most boring easy shit ever. This term it's Number Theory & Modern Geometry. Number theory is just what you think it is. Modern Geometry spends multiple lectures & numerous proofs just to prove simple things from high school geometry like the side-side-side rule. Sounds fun, eh? I'm loving them thus far.
The geometry class is actually pretty weird as far as the students go. I walked in & almost walked back out b/c of the amount of chicks in the class. Normally my math classes are 3:1 or more. (Boys:Girls) This class is 1:3. I was shocked for quite a while. Then after talking to Andrew I realized the reason. This class is required only for UTeach kiddos. Stupid girl math majors all being education.
This weekend is the trip to South Padre Island with the family + Gabe. We rented a beach house & it's going to be so awesome. I may or may not have mentioned this on here already. *shrugs* I repeat myself quite often.
In other news... I'm in love with Damien Rice. I saw him & Fiona Apple over the weekend. I love Fiona Apple but I was more impressed by him. He did an amazing version of I Remember, which I'm dying to find a live version of. If any of you have it or Me, My Yoke, and I then send!
