- Beetle Queen Conquers Tokyo: This documentary sounds awesome.
- Everyone Else: If this film by Maren Ade is half as good as her last film, The Forest for the Trees, it will make my top ten list for this year.
- Gigante: I tend to like movies about surveillance.
- Letters to Father Jacob: I can’t wait to see the latest film by Klaus Härö, director of Mother of Mine.
- The White Ribbon: This year’s Palme d’Or winner, directed by Michael Haneke, who already ranks as one of the best directors of this century because of Caché.
