Sad News
Hey all,
Mama called me this morning to tell me that Granddaddy died this morning. They had moved him into a regular room yesterday and Mama even talked to him on the phone last night. He had been doing quite well but this morning came back into the room and he was saying that the oxygen mask was smothering him and they took it off and he code blued and they were never able to revive him. It looks like the visitation and funeral will be in Hazlehurst and then I still don't know where the burial will be. Grandmother and Granddaddy have plots both in Hazlehurst (where they've lived for 25+ years) and in Louisville (where they grew up and where the family is). I couldn't get an earlier flight so I'm still leaving very early in the morning and should be back in Bham about 10. I might have to pick up Aunt Martina and just depending, I might be driving to Hazlehurst after we get home and loaded up. I don't know when I'll be coming back from over there. Elizabeth and Ryan have one more week of school but they're excused until Wed. but Elizabeth has to come back and take exams. There's not a whole lot that can be done but prayer is always appreciated. I'll have my phone if any one needs me so feel free to call. Love you all very dearly. Be safe. Catch ya later.
