San Francisco is dirty, and I touched it.
PROS of today: residual memories of the documentary DIG! brought up by San Fran (seriously, how many black frame glasses can you squeeze into a 7sq.ml. area?), falafel, downloading Earthbound (read: see you in a day or two), finishing the Wooden Sea, potential job opportunity in prison reform, sidewalk chalk, the dirty south coming up from behind, boys that i love coming to visit me, nostalgia, my awesome new space ship 80s jacket fantastic, rednecks and context, girls that scare the hell out of me turning me on, thoughts of leaving California after only one year.
CONS of today: Lexus SUVs, anti-biotic diarrheal mania, Don Henley (always on the radio, i'd rather masturbate with a fork than hear 'boys of summer' one more time), the fact that i never mail who i say i'm going to mail, cavities, excel spreadsheets (hello, my employer has tons of money, get SPSS or get the hell out).
i did a bike safety rodeo at my summer lunch program site that went pretty well yesterday. work, otherwise, is ick ugh phew. spent yesterday rewriting the volunteer handbook, this week is dedicated to overhauling the volunteer orientation. and fucking off on the internetz.
