My physical chemistry class has turned into a math class, and it's been a few too many years since I've taken calculus for me to be sure of myself.
Here's what I'm trying to integrate followed by the solution given by the Mathematica Online Integrator.
My limits of integration are from 0 to infinity. When I solve the integral by hand (several integrations by parts) and apply the limits, I get (3/4)a^3, but when I plug my limits into the Mathematica solution I get (1/4)a^3.
I can't find anything wrong with the math I did by hand, but the computer is usually right :) Could someone check the math and let me know if their solution agrees with either of mine? Thanks!
