Constructive Criticism, Programming, Points
I am overreacting. Obviously there is some attribute in which I am currently so lacking that I require supplementation. I need to find out what it is and improve.
Unrelated: I desperately need to take a course called Introduction to Programming for People Who Were Able To Place Out of Programming I and II on the Strength of Their Computer Science Ninja Skillz but Need an INTRODUCTORY Class Because They Can't Actually Write Code, Learn New Languages or Do Anything Software-Engineer-y.

My point-earning rate decreased dramatically for the summer, as expected, but yesterday I finally earned 1000 points for the earning period that was supposed to end June 7 at the eight-points-a-day rate. So I am able to say that I only earned three units during it, so I still only have 2000 of the 10,000 points I need towards earning my space. I gave myself two for the REU and one for the talk at the conference. I decided to count the one unit I got for my nonzero Putnam score in the previous earning period, since even though I found out about it in this period, I earned it in the previous period. Since units roll over, I only need to earn five of them by December 1 for those 1000 points to count, and that should be quite easy. I have 42 lifetime.
