Right then, a more full (and possibly f-locked) State of the Mat post is well overdue, but for now, summary is I'm rather happy, work is going OK (my boss asked this morning if I was definitely wanting to go full time for him in the new year) and I'm planning on moving up to live with Jennie soon, and at the very least will be spending a whole lot of time up in Yorkshire whenever possible.
In the meantime, I'm in London this week, and will be in and out of the area on and off for the next few months. I'd like to actually see a bunch of the things I've not got around to yet, and do those things I came up here to do, etc. Money's a bit tight (the whole 'planning a wedding' thing), so cheap stuff is a bonus, but, y'know, rather than ask guidebooks and similar, I thought I'd ask you guys. What are your three favourite things to do in London?
What would you most recommend to people, what do you like to do most, etc. Including events, clubs, museums, attractions, cafes, etc.
When's the best time to go there, is it best to go with a group, and would you like to take/show me (and others?) around, etc?
Specifically, thie Friday I plan to go to Inferno again, haven't been for ages, anyone else want to come along? Other than that, I have no plans at all any evening or Saturday--suggestions very welcome. No guarantee I'll be able to do stuff, but odds are I'd like to rather than not like to.
