Tim at bloggerheads was working on this one for a bit, thought I'd already posted it but must've forgotten. His breakdown of the dramatis personae is rather good as well. Possibly. Can't actually blame him for approaching Paddy; have to wonder how Paddy would've responded if he'd offered something actually worthy, like Foreign Secretary, that might've been worth resigning the whip over I reckon.

Aye; the test itself is biased, it's designed to persuade people they're really libertarians, which I dislike because most people are more liberal than their politicians anyway. But virtually all the LibDems that have done it are in roughly the same place. Prefer the Compass; not as honest but at least it gives more depth and isn't full of leading questions.

You're right about Paddy of course, and I reckon he's still hoping to see the party break through and make Govt before he needs to retire.
