i did my very first (technically second, but i don't think opening a bank account in newport counts, really) 18-year-old thing yesterday.
i got pierced. it was/is amazing.
ahh! also, egyptologists and the director of egyptian antiquities (zahi hawass, my hero) have positively identified a female mummy from tomb KV60 in the valley of the kings (found in 1989 or 1903, i'm not sure) as hatshepsut! which SO effing excitingggggggggggggg, because it's a major major major find for us! notice that i said "us." i like to pretend i'm already there, okay?
