Yay for having a job. Today was the first day of training at the marvelous Ruby Tuesday in Sandusky. Everything seems to be coming very easy. I have two years serving experience, so I know what I am doing. The only hard part is learning the menu. You have to know what comes with what down to the very last ingredient in some cases. It's not just a matter of knowing that a given item comes with fries. I'm sure that will come in good time. Today was basically a day of shadowing one of the servers there. She is a great girl who really works her ass off there, so if I can learn from her this job should be a breeze. We were taking care of this one table tonight with two young kids, one girl and one boy. The little boy talked our ear off about trucks and john deere tractors...cracked me up! The little girl, who was probably three, kept waving hi and giggling whenever I came to the table. It was so cute, a little girl's crush haha. All in all I think I will be very happy working there...it is a great company and I like everyone I've met so far.
