Two words I never include in my vocabulary are hipster and emo. Whenever someone uses one or both of those words around me I sense not only a tone of condescension but also a hint of envy/jealousy. One must realize that the skinny pants, cool food trucks, all that fun shit, etc. that provide indulgence to the masses were once part of obscurity in society until hipsters (here I'm using the word hipster in a sentence for the first time for sake of argument) started parading with those aforementioned things on their shoulders. What started from punk fashion, desperate foodies, all that fun shit, etc. basically got trickled down and filtered to the masses and you're drinking it. So shut the fuck up!
