So I've been busy working. It's not very guresome and I get to listen to music all day. Just the adjustment of working for someone and not being independant/dependant was weird.
Anyways, I've always had plans to go teach english somewhere sometime. Experience a different culture, save some money etc. Recently I've been putting two and two together and figuring out how much time and saving I'd be doing here in Canada at my current job to end up at film school. It all would be so prolonged, and I'd never have money for anything. On the bus one day a friend and I were talking about his experiences, and so far he's been really helpful. Today i was apartment shopping. The point is, money including flight and being able to deal with the initial costs of living, I'll be in Japan by mid January hopefully succesfully establishing myself.
(also, I'm a little weirded out by how exited I am, yet sad at how much I'm going to miss so many great people I know.)
My three week cold is ongoing, stronger than ever.
I guess thats a sufficient update.
I read Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood, I suggest it.
