last christmas i gave you my heart
so tonight i went with my brother to the kroq acoustic xmas. here is the rundown.
+ we had shitty seats but got there early and wound up sneaking into really good seats which was awesome.
- this band called the music played, ironically some of the worst music i have ever heard and the worst band of the night.
- snow patrol and keane played. boring.
+ the shins played which ruled, i dont know why they played this show, but i was glad they did. they seemed rushed and the sound wasnt nearly as good as it usually is for them, but they were still good.
- next was taking back sunday, good lord what a terrible live band and incredibly pretentious.
? muse played and everybody was going ape shit and i really dont know why. they werent that great.
+ modest mouse played only three songs off the new album and everyone got bummed out, which ruled. they played mostly older songs. they were supposed to have a long set, but oh no, that was just a tease, instead...
- fucking gwen stefani made a surprise appearence and danced around in stelettos. she sang two songs, one called hollah back girl and one that is a rip off of weezers hash pipe. she is officially awful and she had an all asian band and all asian dancers, because she was trying to be p.c.
+ then franz ferdinand played, pleasantly surprising, good show.
- next was the killers, really fucking loud and really fucking boring.
- interpol, thought would be good, nope, boring.
? finally jimmy eat world plays...all radio songs with the exception of "last christmas." jim screams a lot at weird parts of songs and they have lots of cool christmas lights.

spencer has a last minute show wed in ventura at nicholbys. its free but 21+.
