I know I very rarely post on livejournal anymore. Usually, I read my friends list every couple of days, but I lost touch with it over the Christmas break when I was home for a couple weeks. I came to livejournal today to begin catching up. Now, I don't really care about friending and de-friending on livejournal and myspace the way some people do

Wow, that's very exciting news!! Congratulations!! & I love the fact that you scheduled it around your favorite holiday! I imagine it'll be the best rehearsal dinner ever. (I'd love it if you LJed about your plans!)

I have a new girlfriend now! Her name is Stacey and she's wonderful. Maybe someday I'll write a LJ post, too.

Yay! Thanks! I wanted to schedule the wedding in October, because of Halloween and just cause it's a beautiful month. I had the 18th picked out and it was available at first, but then I had to convince my mom about the place and by the time I did that it was taken. :( But November 1 is just as good and will be easy to remember. I'm just hoping it won't be too cold. But come on, it's Tennessee, right? It's barely ever cold there. And I will try to post more about my plans. The theme for the wedding is faux bois, so I'm all excited about that.

Thanks about not de-friending me too. You're definitely one of those people that I have lj history with! You and Jenny and Ben convinced me to get an account!

And wow, a new girlfriend! That is great! Where did you meet her? I'd like to hear all about it.

Do you still have the same address? You should make sure I have your current one so I can add you to my card and pen pal list. And it will be good to have for the wedding too!

I looked at myspace profiles for ages and she was the only person I felt compelled to contact. So we met on myspace but had our first date shortly after. :) She currently is working with her dad as a carpenter. You could check her out on my myspace, if you're curious.

I thought you might know, cause you're trendy, you know. :) But faux bois is french for "fake wood." So I'm doing this whole woodgrain/ wood-look theme. It's awesome and I'm having a lot of fun with it.

Aw, I love the story of how you met! A carpenter! That is so neat. She can make a whole apartment of furniture for you. How crafty. I will definitely look her up on myspace.

Craig and I met on Craigslist...I think I posted about that, maybe? He was definitely the front-runner of all the guys that responded. He is a physicist, getting his PhD. He's really easy going and we compliment each other very well. It is a little scary to be getting married, even though I'm ecstatic about it, but I know he's the right one.

Awww! Congrats! Yeah, 10/18/08 had such a nice ring to it. But I'm glad that a couple I like will have that date. :)
