SO, Baltimore was, in a word, awesome.
Getting up at 5am to shower and get ready to go sucked, but once we were done traveling and had arrived at the hotel, it began to get great.
We wandered around for a bit, then went to lunch at ESPN Zone (Yummy!!!). Then we explored the Inner Harbour for a bit; there was so much to see!
The game was at night; we won! :D Our seats were pretty good. and Belly got 2 hits that day!
The next day, we got up, and went to find breakfast, which took forever! Verrrry few places down in Baltimore serve a good breakfast; by the time we finally found a place we were starving.
We wandered around for a bit after that, doing some more shopping and taking pictures w/the crab statues (they are EVERYWHERE). This time, we had an afternoon game... It was freakishly hot, and we lost.
Later, we had dinner at the California Pizza Kitchen (delicious) and wandered around some more, then stopped in a hotel bar where we knew some of the Sox players would be. As soon as we walk into the bar, this person comes flying at me and gives me a great big hug- it's Kristen!!! :D I looked over, and I was standing right next to Teri (sp?) Francona. Yea.
We also saw Kevin Y., Tim Wakefield, and just missed Edgar R.
When we were crossing the street later, we were crossing with Mike Timlin and John Olerud, who gracisouly gave us some of his time to take a pic. Really, couldn't have been nicer.
ANYHOO, after the excitement of the night, we went back to the hotel and relaxed. The next day we had our flight at 2ish, and we spent the rest of the day relaxing.
Awesome, awesome, awesome, vacation!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D
