I should be writing elsewhere, but...
It can be so difficult to find motivation to actually start working on papers. But I found a little the past few days, and this one's going well. In fact, I'm having one of those wonderful times when one little idea evolves into something big. And even though my writing is slow, I feel like my ideas are brilliant. I'm actually excited about what I'm putting down and I'm really excited to see how it turns out in the end. I just hope my professor finds it as good as I do.
So it sucks to have to be doing work when I want to be lazy. But at least this time it's making me feel really smart. Too bad that's so rare, since most of the time I feel like I'm just kind of ... adequate.
