okay, so i got into arizona state. and i sent my rooming list into them, with a $75 deposit or something lame. well, i won't hear from CU if i got in, until like march. well, ASU sent me a letter saying that they got my rooming list, and everything..but theyre going to send me what dorm/room mate i got and everything soon but i have to reply to

Wait. Wait to hear from CU. You have time don't freak out. I didn't know where i was going to school until like 2 weeks before and couldnt register until the day after classes started. Chill out and know everything will be ok. It's a waste of time/money to go to ASU then transfer back out here to CU in like a semester or a year. Too much money and effort and you will mostly be taking general classes anyway. Sometimes credits don't trasnfer also so that is another pain in the ass.
