How many books??

Despite the fact that I'm starting classes (at Mesa/Miramar), I've started/am reading.. The Voyage Out, A Room of Ones Own(though that's just a long essay, really), Half-Blood Prince(which I never read; Sirius dying made me too miserable to read it, and then I read the fanfic known as Stealing Harry, and I was happy), The Picture of Dorian Grey, Utopia, and Lady Chatterly's Lover. It depends on what mood I'm in, really. Adventurous? Half-Blood Prince. All romantic and sappy? Lady Chatterly's Lover. Dark and angsty? The Picture of Dorian Grey. And if I want a headache or am feeling weird, I'll read the other two by Virginia Woolf.
I took a sorting-hat test with Lauren, Whitters and Nikki the other day, since we were feeling Hogwartsy, and I got... Hufflepuff. Little did I know, I was one point off from what I REALLY wanted.

Which Hogwarts house will you be sorted into?

THATS RIGHT

Anyways, it's about choice, too, isn't it?  That's half the battle, really.  Off the subject of my current ridiculous fascination with HP, classes!  I'm talking Honors English, Art, and Japanese, uhh, 101.  My momther has decided I might be missing some key grammar/vocab points in BEGINNING JAPANESE, which *I* Think Is Ridiculous, really.  Really!  I could test into 103 or 104, but no!  At any rate, I'm sure to break the learning curve and make everyone in the class hate me.

I'm also taking a swimming class at freaking eight in the morning on Mondays and Wednesdays.  (Thursdays and Tuesdays are English, Art, then Japanese, from about 8am to about 3pm... dear god I hate Mesa class schedules.)  I went and bought a speedo brand (not an actual speedo, mind you) one-piece bathingsuit.. trying the suits on made me feel irreperably fat and ugly.  I hate my dog-bite scars, razor burn and cottage cheese thighs sooo much... But that's why I'm taking the swimming class, right?  Well, also because I needed one more credit, since my life-insurance only applies when I'm taking 12 credits..

I'm tired.  But before I go to bed, I'll go read Stealing Harry, so I'll have nice happy (and homosexual; hurray Sirius/Remus!) dreams.  I suppose it helps me sleep better thinking everyone's living happily ever after.
