I don't get how the brother-sister dynamics work at the Villamayor household. I, for one, have lived with a little brother for 20 years - and we've had our share of bickering over ruined toys, fights over who gets to eat what part of the fried chicken, arguments over TV shows, movies, what schools to go to and all those petty things siblings go through every once in a while - but no matter how irritated I have been at Quentin, no matter how mad I've become... I have NEVER in my whole life entertained the thought of physically hurting or disabling him like Genevieve does to Joseph.
I guess slaps and light punches are fine (?)... he says she's really like that when she gets mad at him... or just mad in general. But slapping away a cake of plate on your big brother's shirt? Pushing him down the stairs? That's SERIOUSLY NOT normal behavior. And that's SERIOUSLY NOT FUNNY.
Joseph must be a fucking masochist to have lived through God-knows-how-many years with that brat. And that sorry excuse for a lady should well be smacked right at the face with MANNERS, and good ones at that.
Look, I'm not a saint - that's actually the MOST INAPPROPRIATE adjective anyone can use to describe me - but at least I know how to at the very least appreciate the people in my life.
