* - I'm at my Mom's house in Netanya right now, using her lap top, which means I haven't a lot of time and I can't reply to comments right now, I just wanted to say a huge thank you to those of you who replied to my post about the whole flotilla mess. What a great speech. I don't think his language is too strong at all. The UN has been ignoring a lot of suffering around the world in order to please its Muslim members. I don't know if yםu've seen the videos from Darfur, but what's going on there is very similar to the Holocaust. And the UN turns a blind eye...

Have a great day tomorrow! I hope it's filled with cakes, presents, friends and happiness (and no TV). MAZAL TOV!

I agree, it has been ignoring a lot od wrong doings around the world and it pisses me off. I don't know if I'd compare Darfur to the Holocaust (nothing will ever be as bad as the latter, I hope, ever again in the history of human kind) but I agree that it's a terrifying genocide that's being carried out with disturbing ease and lack of intervention from the rest of the world. I have no doubt about the fact that the UN is incredibly biased in its actions (as would be any international forum, since the non-democratic members will always outnumber the democratic ones), but I would use softer language because when you're being too harsh (even if you are right), people simply can't hear you. And I think what he's saying is so important that it needs to be heard.

Thank you so much, honey! :D It was a good day and this is a lovely final note to it. And thank you for making it that bit better! ;D *MWAH* <3<3<3
