Happy Fourth day of Christamas!
The migrations from our house to Granny's to Grandma and Grandpa's houses went smoothly despite the snow, though we had to bypass the original plan of stopping to visit my aunt and cousin in the hospital.
Spent Christmas eve baking pies, eating far too much good food and watching "It's a Wonderful Life" which is one of those movies that I really loathed having to sit through when I was little but after so many years of being forced to watch it have come to like it enough to refuse not to sit through it. Allowed parents to sleep past 6:15 on christmas morning for the first time in several years. And then there was tea, and shiny new boots and much chocolate among other things.
And then back to work. In process of attempting to get New Year's eve off from work.
