You know... Thanksgiving and snow days used to mean LESS work.
Ended up working every day (well... nights actually) of the holiday weekend except for the holiday itself. First to make up the missed hours for the benefit of my paycheck and then to cover for co-workers who couldn't come in due to snow.
And it was cold.
And slow.
And have you ever tried making milkshakes when it's below freezing outside?
I have no sympathy whatsoever for the idiots who stand at the window and order milkshakes while visible shivering. I've spent the past few evenings with hands of a temperature low enough to put their normal reputation for coldness to shame.
In other news, everyone whom I work with is as crazy or crazier than I am and I have been dubbed as both an 'Agent of Darkness' and a 'Sweet Innocent Angel'. On the same night no less.
So... yeah. Happy beginning of the holiday madness,my friends!
