(no subject)
I am home, home, home, home, home sweet HOME!
Actually I've been home for a week. And busy. Job hunting is eeeeeeeevil, yes it is. Especially when one has no retail experience whatsoever and doesn't know if she's going or staying in the fall. Blargh!
And I was hoping to have gotten lots of driving practice in by now so that I could try for my liscense before my permit expires...but that doesn't looklike it's gonna happen. Instead I've gotten lots of practice taking the bus to and from various parts of the city. Which is also good, just not what I was expecting to do.
I don't think there's been a single night since I got home when both my siblings were home for dinner. One of them is always out at volleyball or baseball practice/games/tournaments, it's ridiculous.
Getting home was a bit a pain, for some odd and unknown reason, when Dad checked the flight info online it said the flight was on the 15th, when I got to the airport, they said the reservation was for the 16th. Ended up checking into a hotel and waiting till the next day before hauling the bags back to the airport and trying again. Fortunately worked the second time round.
So now I'm home and still jobless and haven't seen many friends or relatives, with a girlfriend who has been forbidden to see me and a cat who's just being a furry little brat.
Other than that life is pretty good.
