Huge party town...
so i dont have internet at the house, im up at the winery right now, just finished the day. its probably a good thing internet will be harder to come by. i mean i will check it ever three days or so, but i wont be on aol or anything. which gives me so much more time to do better things with my time. Working has been fun, just lab work. collecting samples of different areas of the vineyard, getting grape juice and testing for brix (sugar %) and acidity. I have done about seven sections in two days which im proud of. im getting a lot faster at it. i did the boot, grand view lower, rainbow upper and lower, some pinot gris, and then daves place. i got a few different clones from each area. i have done a shit load of cleaning and organizing too because people apparently don't like to clean up after themselves here. i dont think they've ever even heard of dusting before. oh well, i really dont mind cleaning. and i like organzing once my OCD kicks in. anyway, i pretty much work, sleep, eat, read. and of course the obsesive soletare playing. drawing sometimes. i got my car back, a lot of work went into it. i feel safe now. oh, if anyone ever decides to come visit me, you have to see the coy fish. they are INSANE. they're so used to people feeding them all the time that when you walk up to the pond, they all swim up to the side and start flailing all over the place like they haven't been fed in years. some of them end up on the rocks or pilled on top of each other. that entertains me every day before i go to work. well, it hasnt been laborous yet, we're expecting harvest in about two weeks, maybe less. sugar is about 20-23% right now. i want to post pictures, but im not sure if i can sense this is a winery computer, and i dont think i could use mine for internet. we'll see. sorry if this entry bores you, it's really for my own sake. if anyone did read this, i hope you're doing well.
