so i dont really know how long our actuall trip was because of the time changes, but with all of them it took a day and a half to fly here. the first day was really short though, like 6 hours of day light, and then a short night, like 7 hours of night time. the next day was pretty brutal, but when i got here we met up with my brother and i was freakin´starving. of course when we got here it was siesta (sp?) so everything was closed until 6 or so. so we went to McDonalds which wasn´t very bad. people work really slow here because they don´t give a shit at all. especially bar tenders because they don´t get tipped. no one tips here. but anyway, then we went to "open-cor" which is like a 7-11 and bought beer in a box that tasted like shit, but we went to the river and drank and ate. through some bottles at steps and bruned papers that were all my brothers friends, that are now college graduates, papers. you can drink in public here, which is awesome. after that we went and watched "i heart huckabees" then drank more by the river then went to my brothers professors house and drank wine on the roof with all the kids from the college program here, which is was like 15 some odd kids. then i got invited to go their graduate dinner and we drank more there. it´s been really hard not smoking because EVERYONE smokes here. and in the airports and everything. smoking inside is really weird. i only had one ciggerette though. after dinner we went to a bar and i was really tired so i only had a couple drinks and then came home to the hotel and crashed. i slept really well, and i guess my brothers sudo-girlfriend wants to get really drunk tonight, so she´s taking me with her along with some other girls. it´s nice hanging out with people who know where we are and know spanish. im learning a little. spanish seems a lot more interesting in spain than mexico, i think it´s the dialect and also the fact that it´s spain... haha. oh, i also have to say that the streets/ allys are really tiny and then you look to the side and there is another smaller one, and then another... it´s insane.... and beautiful. there´s also this beautiful cathedral here that looks bigger than the size of bend. it´s amazing. apparently spanish people love to do construction work and play in dirt. they´re always "fixing" something and hammering shit. so we got to our hotel and of course they were breaking marble steps to put in a ramp and dirt was everywhere and they were jackhammerthing the crap out of it. weird spainards.... okay im done rambling. sorry if you don´t care, but i hope it´s somewhat interesting if anyone reads it that is. hope all is well.
