My new life

much has happened in my life and I would like to use LJ as kind of a time capsule for who I am/was at this point. It is pretty interesting to read some of the older posts I have written as I am so similar and yet different at the same time. I don't think anyone still uses this which is disappointing. But if you do, leave me a message- I would love to catch up with some of my older friends.
So, I just started working back in February and I am still settling in. I work as a Dam Engineer for a small company. Most of our projects are owned by the state of NJ, so I like to joke that my job is to keep the Jersey Shore where it is.
I'm living in a small town called Hamburg, NJ and I work in Stockholm. I basically live in the forest but there is a walmart and a YMCA close by so I can make it through til the weekend. The Mall is like 40 minutes away so I'll go on the weekend and look at things I would like to buy one day when my bank account is fertile with green riches.
I am making good money even though it's significantly lower than what I expected to be making. My boss was like, well out here in "Fern Gully" but I am sticking to a tight budget so I can jump start my
I got a free pass to go to the YMCA so I went. It's a really nice place but it is full of highschool kids. It has the benefit of literally being the closest building to my place so I'll be joining up.
Anyway, i gotta make lunch for tomorrow and head to bed.
I'll be around more- come back old friends
