Goings On in Chicago
For all you Chicago Folks, there're a couple of amazing events happening this weekend if you don't already know.
1. Clitfest is a series of shows and workshops and films celebrating women in punk. Some of my pals are on the collective, and they are pretty great. I don't have the link for you now, but if you google something involving clit, fest, and chicago, you shouldn't have any problem tracking down the schedule.
2. The Femme Conference is happening friday, saturday, and sunday. Most of it is going on at a hotel by O'hare, but there will be performances and events during the evenings in town. 3. Saturday evening boasts a Windy City Rollers travel team game at the Cicero Stadium. In spite of all these other exciting events, i plan on being there.
4. And, finally, The Ex is playing on sunday night.
