Eggplant and Rosemary

Last week i was riding home from work and i thought i should stop at stanley's produce, becuause it was open and i love stanleys and it's rare i happen to be riding past when it's open on my way home. It's also a good 8 miles from home. I had purchased a new bicycle panier/backpack which i love, but which is much smaller than my old ortlieb bags ( Read more... )

I'm tempted to post a picture--oh wait! I can!
(Let's see how this works..)--of a (relatively) enormous & beautiful branch covered in orange moss I found walking around the lake. This kind of foreshortens the fact that it's at least six feet longer than the bike. I strapped it to my bike & rode seven miles home, then of course couldn't figure out how to fit it into my apartment, which is pretty small and too full already. Anyhow, 1) the thin inner tube + carabiner bungee is indispensable! 2) I'm really glad to see you posting here again!

Wow, this is what i'm talking about! It's so sad nobody is on LJ anymore, i'd really like to dedicate a post for comments on things people have carted on their bikes. I'd love to see more pics of this sort.

Thanks! I followed said link and responded because it was a great thread and very much in line with stuff i've been saying. Hmm, yeah, cars don't count in this particular thread, but that doesn't mean that wouldn't be a good thread all on its own! xo
