Chapter 12:
Satoshi stared at the four at the table in front of him.
Sho was busy shoving more food onto Toma’s plate, saying he’s too skinny and should eat more. Satoshi frowned. He had known Sho nearly his whole life, which was precisely why Satoshi could tell when Sho genuinely wanted to do something, or when he forced himself to do so. His instincts told him without a doubt that Sho was definitely forcing himself. In fact, Satoshi could tell Sho had to force himself to force himself, complicated? Not that it really matters, or that does is that Sho is trying to make himself like Toma.
He reasons for doing so were quite obvious to Satoshi too. Not like anybody is able to not see a certain guy by the name of Nino sitting directly across Sho, glaring the hell out of him. From the way Nino held his chopsticks so tightly, Satoshi could tell that Nino was pissed. Very pissed. And is obvious why - Sho was flirting with another guy. And Satoshi thought Sho was smart enough to know that trying to make Nino jealous by flirting with Toma was such a bad idea.
Satoshi wished he wasn’t the only one who was left out, even Jun knew what was going on between the four, from the way Jun had sneaked 36 worried glances towards Nino within the last minute. Jun’s eyebrows were furrowed in a way which could only mean his prized clothes were crumpled, or he knew he was about to get ‘killed’.
Satoshi didn’t like the way Toma seemed to have taken over his place within the four. Every few seconds, Toma was try to keep his distance from Sho, then the next few seconds would be spent flirting with him, and the rest of the time casting glances at Jun.
He didn’t like it one bit. There was definitely something going on between them, and someone forgot to tell him.
Now wanting to be left out, Satoshi stood up abruptly and announced, “let’s go on a weekend trip!”
That was how the five found themselves at one of the houses owned by Johnny’s Entertainment. It was surrounded by hills on one side, and a big lake on the other. Prefect enough for the five of them to mess around and for Satoshi to figure out what was going on.
“Toma and I would be heading to the golf course,” announced Sho more to Nino alone rather than everybody, holding Toma closely to him with a protective arm around his shoulders.
Thunderclouds seemed to have gathered above Nino’s head as he watched the pair head off.
Jun really couldn’t bear to see the look of pure misery on Nino’s face and felt like killing himself. Not only was his plan stupid, it failed to bring Sho and Nino closer, if not pulled them further apart.
But just as he was about to slap himself across his face, a warm hand grabbed his. The person who did that - Nino.
“Are you free now?” asked Nino sweetly, with such an adorable smile. Jun’s practically melted into a puddle. Luckily, he had enough sense to ‘solidify’ himself and nod.
Leaving Satoshi to stare at the retreating backs of the two pairs, Jun and Nino rushed off to wherever their legs took them.

Going on rides after rides at Johnny-san’s private theme park with Jun was fun. But it definitely couldn’t compare to the time he rode the roller coaster with Sho.
Nino sighed as he stared at the vending machine in front of him as he tried to decide on something to quench his thirst, but somehow, his mind kept drifting off. Nino still considered himself Sho’s official boyfriend since Sho hasn’t officially dumped him. Yet. Then again, why would Sho choose to act all friendly with Toma, especially when Nino was there. Unless Sho was already sick of him…
“Nino?” came a voice while something prodded him gently in the shoulder. Nino turned and came face to face with Jun. Upon seeing Jun’s face, Nino felt like a jerk. He knew that expression. It was the same lovey-dovey face Jun had on when the three brothers confessed to him on the rooftop that day. Nino felt like a idiot for leading Jun on like that. He knew he didn’t like Jun the way Jun liked him, and yet Nino used him. Inexcusable. He had to put and end to it before anyone else gets hurt.
“I need to go to the toilet,” lied Nino, making his way to the nearest restroom, which thankfully wasn’t so far.
Once in the safety of the restroom, and thankfully Jun didn’t follow him, Nino placed his weight on the sink and stared at his reflection in the mirror.
Nino thought he was quite good looking, and he was ego enough, even better than Toma. He didn’t see why Sho would choose Toma over him when it comes to looks. He was smart too! Heck! He was the smartest in his cohort, from the rankings, Nino was always at the top and Toma’s name was nowhere to be seen. So if it wasn’t in terms of looks or smartness, what did Sho see in Toma?
Nino pouted.
Just then, the door of one of the cubicle opened. Speak of the devil. Subconsciously, Nino punched the spot on the mirror which showed Toma’s reflection.
“Nino!” smiled Toma, giving Nino a cheery wave.
“What are you doing here?” hissed Nino.
“When Sho heard you were here, he decided to follow,”
Nino was about to explode in anger when he noticed something different about Toma. Nino didn’t take long to figure out what it was.
“You!” cried Nino, spinning around to face the real Toma and not the reflection, point an accusing finger at him, “You’re a fake aren’t you?!”
Toma’s eyes widened in shock. He glanced at the mirror, gasped, before covering his chin with his hand. Due to all the stuff going on, Toma had forgotten to paste the fake mole on his chin. Johnny-san isn’t going to be happy.
Before Nino could purse the matter, Toma dashed out of the toilet, the handicapped Nino unable to catch up with him.

Satoshi had no idea what was going on, but things had taken a drastic change ever since Sho and Toma returned from wherever they went to. Sho was desperately clinging on to Toma, going on and on about how the day had been really fun. On the other hand, Toma had his eyebrows furrowed and wasn’t even listening to Sho.
The pair made their way to their seats at the dining table, Sho still rambling and Toma still not paying him any attention. All they need to do now is wait for…oh, here they are.
Before Satoshi could greet the second pair, Nino burst out, “Toma’s a fake! The mole on his chin is fake!”
And before Satoshi could react to Nino’s accusation, Sho stood up, slammed the table with both hands and replied, “How could you accuse Toma like that! What evidence do you have?”
And before Satoshi could get a word in, Nino yelled back, “But it’s true! Ask him!”
Toma started to panic. What if his true identity was exposed? What if they find out about his plans? Toma calmed himself down and said, “Nino, I know your upset that Johnny-jii-chan isn’t your grandfather, and Sho is now with me, but accusing me isn’t the going to change anything,”
Nino bit his lips in annoyance.
“Satoshi, do something,” whined Nino. But everything happened so fast for the blur Satoshi, and he had no clue what was going on.
Seeing that Satoshi wasn’t going to help him, Nino grabbed Jun’s arm with both of his hands and pouted, “Jun…”
All of Toma’s self-control seemed to have disappeared the moment Nino’s hands reached Jun’s arm.
“Okay! Okay! I admit I’m fake!” cried Toma, “Now get your hands off Jun!”
Satoshi thought his head was about to explode at the sudden turn of events.
