arashi's kanji is derived from 2 other kanji. 嵐 = (kaze)風 + (yama) 山
since yama is on top and both ohchan and sho are the oldest,they're called the yamapair.something like that xD

as for changing themes,i think you can get themes from communities and just use the codes available.to change,just go to lj's homepage, choose Journal > Customize Journal Style , click Custom CSS and paste the codes you've got. ^^ hope that helps ^^
