I feel it awful not translating for a loooooooooooooong time as it used to be my habit, but apparently I am too lazy now, it doesn't mean I am leaving from fandom, as I am flailing everyday♥
I wanted to post this until his drama will be shown!!!

Family bond in the year Showa 50s is tighter than that in our time, I thought.

When I was given this work, I was surprised, but happy.
Apparently they offered me this after watching 'RESCUE', and I became happier by hearing that.
This story is set in the era of Showa 50s(*around 1975-1985), and the words and phrases in the lines are indeed like those used 30 years ago(LAUGH).
There is a word '品行方正'(hinkou housei, 'conduct') in my line, but we don't use that word in our daily life, right?(*personally I agree with him, it sounds like written language in the formal style)
That is the word I've never said(LAUGH).
So, sometimes I couldn't understand the scriptbook until after reading many times.
And even about the words still used now, apparently lots of them were pronounced in the different accent at that time, then the director yelled at me(LAUGH).
So, I tried to pay attention to let the lines fit me, as if they are my own words, by saying many times.
Through reading scriptbook, although houses and stuff haven't been progressed in Showa 50s unlike those nowadays, family's bond was tighter than that in our time, I thought.
My character Masaaki is, the general boy, but through this character I could experience a lot what I never experienced, for example he has a fiancee soon going to marry and his mother fell in love with a guy.
And, I could learn a lot by acting with lots of great actors.
