Based upon the long running 2ch tournament "Saimoe", and its international incarnations, the Sai-Ikemen Tournament is a fan voting contest where fans nominate their favorite male idols to go against each other in a series of voting rounds to see who reigns surpreme as the most popular, and, hottest ikemen of 2009.
This male version, and real life, version of the Saimoe contest will run a lot more simplistic than its Japanese counterpart to involve the less headaches and to have the most fun. Anyone who has an LJ account can vote for their favorite idols.
