A Japanese (sort of) famous (among those who are now in one's 30s or 40s, since he was popular when such people were younger) pop singer, who had once called 'Japanese Prince'(not 'prince' but 'Prince' the pop singer, so you can imagine his style), Yasuyuki Okamura, was arrested by using drug. For the 3rd time.
3rd time.
When he was arrested 5 years ago for the first time, they didn't inform it in public, and he just had a rest from his work. Since he was treated as a genius, people thought he must have been in the depression at that time. And he needed not go to the jail.
Then, 3 years ago, he was found at a toilet in Shibuya with a drug. It was officially announced and he was kicked into a jail to work for 1 year and 6 months. Many fans cried, and a representative website by fans gathered fans' letter and sent him. He replied to fans with apology.
Last year, he finally came back. Since he was easy to get depression, once he became really really fat (people said he became more than 100kg), but when he came back from the jail, he reduced his weight by the healthy life in the jail. People thought he must have been taught how to live healthily.
He released a CD, appeared at some events(even at AP bank by the producer Takeshi Kobayashi and Kazutoshi Sakurai from Mr. Children) and concerts. On the news TV program, he said, he wanted to vanish the drug from this world.

He was arrested. Such fast.
He was famous, and rather talented like a genius. He had a contract with Sony Music, then Universal Music. Some concerts were waiting him.
He was a friend of a singer treated like a genius, Yutaka Ozaki(he's an alumni of Aoyama Gakuin High School), who had died.
Even he produced many singers.
I loved his sense of music. Sometimes his works were too sexual, but usually he figured out how younger cherry boys are interested in love and sex. (When I listened to Koyashige's 'Chirarizumu', I thought that they should be given a few songs from him.)
