Update on my life
Let's run down all the possible topics:
1. Job Search- I don't have one yet but I'm still remaining fairly optimistic about the whole thing. I mean the economy isn't too great but there's not much I can do about the individually so I'll be okay. It's what we do.
2. Writing Stuff - Seems like our co-writing story might be stalling out pretty much. Not that it's a bad thing, but it's hard to really talk about stuff when ya live so far away from the co-author. It's something to think about when going forward with my work and stuff. I should also be working on the prequel stuff but I just don't have the desire or whatever right now. Maybe when I check out some forensic books I'll feel a little bit better about what one needs to know when working on that kind of stuff. Still keeping my eyes and ears open on that one.
3. Books Read - Still working on House of Leaves, it's a really heavy work in that it reminds me so much of reading a critical text that I must be out of practice in reading it. The whole thing also gets confused by the issue of footnotes that take away from the actual reading so it's hard to know where the reader should be trying to force all their attention to. I'm also going for Clive Barker's Mister B. Gone. It's a much easier book to get through and it has a great pace. I enjoy the way that reading goes with that one so I move through it at a wonderful pace.
4. Movies Watched - I think the last movie I've seen in the theaters is Watchmen. I really like it and all, I think it just is getting billed as something more and being over-hyped as a movie. I mean, it's based on a graphic novel and that has been highly influential to all the various people that have read it but there is not possible way that Watchmen could be as impacting in movie form. Man, it's just so lame that they make it seem like this is some new idea when it was conceived over two decades ago but whatever. It's a nice movie and I'll probably get it on DVD when it comes out.
5. Health and Well being - Everyone in the fam is doing pretty good and I think no one has a cold or anything that I know of.
