Did someone order the reunion special?
So this past Sat was the big 5 year reunion and I'm sure most of everyone goes "five years? geez, what could anyone have done in five years to warrant coming back together to hang out again?" Sure, we probably didn't have a whole ton of exciting things to talk about: some folks were married, a few had kids but for the most part we were a bunch of post college kids trying to figure out what the hell we are doing. They are for the most part a pretty nice group of people and it was interesting to think about how you could have stayed in touch but maybe you didn't. There were a ton of them I hadn't seen in five years, five years now sounds like a long time but I guess in the grand scheme of things it's not. But that was I guess the other great part about hanging out with a lot of them, like even though there was that kind of time lapse since the last time we'd all been out together for anything like that but you could still talk, like there was still enough of a connection to be able to pick right back up with the people. That was nice. Maybe it helped that we were all at a bar so we could use that good old 'social lubricant' to keep things together.
