i studied philosophy. it didn't grab me. then long after having dropped out of college (yes, true... no diploma here haha) i started READING BOOKS... and suddenly blam!
philosophy.
you have to find the bits that "take you" and pursue them, the tributaries from a single point of philosophical interest will branch out into other cappilaries and it really never ends [tho' at some point, usually a few years in... your head explodes and you have to get a replacement].
i rarely get to excersize my philosophical side on the internet anymore... unless i'm talking to myself... so i'm glad i came across this lj. it seems to contain actual conversation. tho'... don't worry... i like lists and talking about lame shit as much as anyone.
warning. i'm wordy and have a lot of time at the 'puter... but i don't ALWAYS flood and post so much. i say that cuz i found out some people take offense at how much i comment, and the ammount of words i use. i dunno. i never found "ammount of words" to be offensive, but apparently it is to some people.
"Aigh! Many Words! Run Away! Run Away!". Like a giant catapult-flung cow.
