Don't you EVER blame yourself for any of this.

While it's true how sad it is that people who were once close are beginning to drift apart, it's only the natural progression of life. And as far as the baby goes, you are not a doctor. You're not even training to be one. So don't hold yourself accountable as such.

There are two things we can do with every circumstance that comes along in life. We can brood about it, wondering about all the "what-if" scenarios. Questioning whether that one minor decision could have changed a number of things. But it's all moot.

Instead, we should endeavor to move on, to take what we've learned and make out towards a better tomorrow. I'm not religious, but I do believe that everything that happens can be applied to the future. You can't dwell on this and let it take over your life, either in the short or long term.

Besides...Mark's butt isn't getting any less rapeworthy.
