Our Love could not compete with her god and her religion. So she said goodbye. But not really... Tonight she said she needed to see me just once again "To have closure." She wanted to come to my place. I said someplace neutral. We are to exchange some stuff of mine and some of her stuff. So on Tuesday we will meet in a parking lot of a gas station 1/2 way between her place and mine. Ironically this place is next door to where we first meet 3 1/2 years ago. Hopefully this will be the last time. I have removed all trace of her and our time together, electronically at least. It will take a while for the emotions to fade but hopefully that wont take too long. At least she didn't break up with me by email on my 50th birthday. I just wish she would let me go and let me heal.
Aside from this life is good.
I have Tam and our relationship is going strong.
I have a good job where they value me and what I bring.
I have a great house that still needs this or that but its mine.
So life is good.
