Its been a while
I guess it has been long enough since my last update.
I closed on my house a year ago. In that time I moved in settled in and have done very little to show for that time. With help I painted the living room, Master Bedroom, Kitchen, and started in the spare bedroom and Master Bathroom. I have my furniture somewhat where I want it. The Master Bedroom is set and I like the way it turned out. My little one helped me stain/finish the back deck and I assembled the gas grill she bought me for house warming. Next week I get the downstairs A/C replaced. It crapped out within the first few months. It will be nice to have a cool main level. I like my house and feel at home perhaps that is why I haven’t been pushing myself to finish the rest of the house. I have grand plans… Entertainment room upstairs, dungeon in the basement, maybe even an elevator from basement to top floor… (I’m not getting any younger). I tell myself I’m here for the long haul so there is no need to push myself to finish. We all know that is just a way of putting off things, things that need done. My daughter and her family along with my parents are planning on visiting sometime in August. I need to have the spare bedroom finished, the current “play” room moved to the basement, and a place for my parents to sleep on the main level. But I just can’t seem to get motivated. Aside from all this My life is pretty good. I have 2 women that I love and they love me back. Each one fulfills my needs and I hope I do the same for them. I have a job I love and they seem to like me. Life is Good. I guess I have bored you all enough.
