Y'know, Seattle always amazes me, last weekend, it was sunny and hot as hell, and this week, it's cold and windy. From the looks of it, it seems like summer's gone by. =p So, as always, my adventures were filled with food, and galore...
Last Wednesday night, met up with Kam and Thanh, and we had bubble tea at Oasis, were we chatted about the process of getting a mortgage, and how it works, I also learn more about how credit scores worked out, as well as the difference between home loan officers and mortgage brokers; we chatted for two hours that night, it was very educational for me, so, hopefully, I'll use those knowledge in the near future; my family discussed it out, as we're putting it on standstill, but hopefully, in the near future, we could purchase a property and hopefully lease it out to someone, in hopes to get some profits...or pocket change, for all it matters...=p
Thursday night, after work, I attempted to call Mom up, but she didn't pick up her phone, nor her cell phone. (I was at my grandma's place in Chinatown) That got me worried, I mean, it was getting so late at night (about 10 PM), and she's working the next day, where the hell was she? There's so many scenarios, like maybe she's at a casino, or she was in a car accident, or maybe she's in the shower? The list was endless, and I was so worried something happened. Eric called me, as he happened to be in the area, I asked him to drive me home. And he did, when we got to my house, someone's car was parked outside my house....
"OMG....whos' that?!" Eric said.
"I dunno, prob. one of my Mom's friend" I said, shaking my head.
It turns out that my Mom actually had dinner with a coworker of hers after work, the reason why she didn't pick up the phone: it was still on her bed stand! She forgot to put it in her purse in the morning!
*shakes head* well, hopefully, next time, she'll carry it on her person more often. =p
Friday, afterwork, met up with Alex and others at Sushi Land, where we feasted on sushi and galore, great chats, and afterwards, went to Chinatown to study Japanese at my Grandma's.
Saturday night, afterwork, met up with MB and JD, we had dinner at Tamarid Tree in Little Saigon, afterwards, I got them some bubble tea at Oasis, and we drove to Alki Beach and walked the whole waterfront, very nice day, and a beautiful sun set. The girls were making fun at me, as they noticed me take off my long sleeve shirt. "Ack, Warren, put it back on, you need to work out more, it's bouncing!"
>< dammit! Oh, it's true, I'd been slacking, I think I went to the gym twice last month, mainly because my studies in Japanese been taking most of my off work time....But, I'll commit myself to do it soon...I better not let me $20/month go to waste!
Sunday, after work, went home, and I move lil stuff from my old room to my new room, it's almost done, as my sister will be moving into her new bedroom by the end of the month. It's amazing on how much stuff I have, and when you walk into my room, you'll notice how much of an Anime and Gaming nut case I am. One side of the wall is filled with posters, and I have Inu Yasha and Final Fantasy action figures everywhere about (I'm planning to take some pics and post them up, as soon as I'm done moving everything. My room is 1/4 the size of what I'm used to the past few years, and also, my closet space been reduced as well. For that, I'm donating most of my old clothes (the black jeans that everyone hates so much...=p) to Goodwill, as well as random stuffs I hardly use no more.
Monday, was, ah, family day, my sister and I took Mom to her doctor's appointment, afterwards, had dim sum with Grandma. (was suppose to have lunch with Alex in the early afternoon, but it got cancelled) After dim sum, went to downtown for some ice cream at Cold Stone; adding more fat, I know...>< Later that night, had some hot pot rice at LA Cafe.
When we got home, my sister insist that I should get my driver's permit in two weeks, and get my license by the end of the summer. *groans* She then asked me to sit behind the wheel and drive around the block. (Now, I haven't been behind the wheels for almost eight years, but I gave it a shot anyways) My sister noticed I drive ok, but I drive very slowly, like a granny....plus, I break too soon....whatever, I don't think driving's for me, but it's about time I get it...I think? bah...
Later in the week, met up with MB on several morning for breakfast, and had lunch with Elisa; pasta in Pike Place, plus work and studies made the week pretty dull.
Yesterday, had a open book test in Japanese class...sweet! Today, met up Alex and Steven for lunch at Ichiro's, chatted, laughed, etc. Good times. Now, planning to go to the Oasis on The Ave and study some more Japanese.
Later tonight, practice for book cart drill team near downtown; as I'll be performing at the Gay Pride Parade in a few weeks with the book cart drill team...=p
Currently Reading: Great Teacher Onizuka (GTO: The Early Years) A prequel to GTO series, when Onizuka was just 16 years old...heh heh...fun stuff...
Planning to watch next week: MONK: Season 2
Goals for next week: Hiking on Monday to Wallace Falls; rest of the week: go to the gym.
